Process water tanks

Changing climate and temporary water shortages can destroy the entire crop and crop production causing irreparable losses. To meet this, we offer modular tanks with EPDM or PVC liner. Twisted tanks made of galvanized corrugated sheet are an excellent way to store water for such purposes as irrigation, fertilization and crop protection, in fish farming, small water treatment plants, biogas installations and for manure processing in agriculture.

The tanks can be installed both outdoors and indoors.

ELEVATION AND COLOR OF THE TANK

The tanks are manufactured from S280 and S350 strength steel, depending on their diameter and height. The thickness of the sheets is selected depending on the type of stored medium and the place where the tank is to be installed. The standard thickness is 0.8 - 1.2 mm, in some cases it can be as thick as 1.85 mm.

In addition to the strength and quality of the steel, a distinction is made between sheet lengths, which range from 3.05 to 2.24m.

Thanks to the modular design, we offer a wide range of dimensions and capacities. A specially selected series of types will allow you to match the tank to your needs.

Sealing of process water tanks

Our tanks are sealed from the inside in two variants: using a prefabricated synthetic EPDM membrane, matched to the dimensions of the tank, which has a design life of 30 years, or a PVC membrane - characterized by high mechanical resistance.

The membrane installed in the tanks is a product of the highest quality. It maintains the required parameters, which pays off with a very high efficiency during the tank leakage test and a long life of waterproofing.

  • EPDM is a synthetic rubber (rubber) belonging to the group of elastomers. It is a homogeneous, chemically stable material that does not contain plasticizers - substances that cause elasticity, for example, PVC film membranes, which migrate, leach and evaporate over time, adversely changing the properties of these materials, causing them to stiffen, which can lead to leaks.
  • The flexibility of EPDM membranes, which is very important in tank insulation, is due solely to their specific molecular structure. Thanks to it, we do not observe stiffening of the EPDM membrane over the years.
  • EPDM is a chemically dead material, that is, after vulcanization, no chemical processes take place in it that change its properties.
  • No components escape from it into the environment, this is confirmed by the certificate of neutrality for the water environment and PZH approval for use in drinking water tanks.
  • The EPDM membrane is thermostable and retains its flexibility and strength over a wide temperature range, i.e. from - 40ºC to + 120ºC, among other things, so it is possible and safe to install the membrane even at very low temperatures.
  • Thanks to its chemical homogeneity, the EPDM membrane is much more resistant to atmospheric aging (EPDM is resistant to ozone, UV radiation, most aggressive chemicals and microorganisms, among other things) than other commonly used waterproofing materials.
  • EPDM has so-called shape memory - the material returns to its original shape and dimension after stretching up to 300%.

The EPDM membrane is prepared under production conditions. Prefabrication in advance allows constant control over the parameters of the material and the welding of the elements. Maintaining proper prefabrication parameters affects the quality of the final product. The membrane undergoes detailed quality control before packaging and arrives at the construction site as a ready-to-install component. Pre-prepared membrane significantly reduces the assembly time of the tank, allows installation even during severe frosts, increases the effectiveness of tightness tests eliminating all the problems that can occur during the execution of the membrane on the construction site.

Tank equipment

Tanks can be open or closed, with a cover in the form of a tarpaulin / cover. The offered cover can be made of various materials, e.g. PVC material or antigloss fabric (applied or floating), depending on the application and customer's wishes.

The tanks are equipped with process pipelines that allow them to be supplied with water as well as to distribute it for production purposes. The pipelines can be routed through the bottom or the wall of the tanks.

Foundation for the tanks is done on a substrate previously prepared according to JRtech guidelines.

Scope of work

We offer to prepare a complete detailed design.

JRtech's basic scope of supply includes delivery with unloading: all tank components.

Installation consists of sequential lifting of the tank structure with simultaneous installation of internal insulation and waterproofing. Once the tank assembly is complete, we proceed with the installation of the remaining equipment.

Assembly can be done independently by the purchaser.

After the installation is complete, the tank is ready for filling and performing a leak test.

After the installation of the tank, we provide training on its operation. We teach the administrators of the facility how to perform basic checks and what periodic services to subject the device to.

Upon completion of construction, JRtech will execute and deliver as-built documentation with the necessary approvals and declarations.

Along with the completed construction and conducted acceptance, we provide a warranty card for the product and its operation. The warranty indicates the activities that should be performed to properly protect the tank and maintain an effective warranty.
