Construction of foundations

The tanks and pumping station buildings are founded on a flat foundation slab made according to our guidelines. The basic scope of the foundation slab design includes:

• analysis of the characteristics of soil and water conditions based on the submitted conditions from the planned foundation site of the facility,
• determination of the geotechnical category of the facility,
• issuance of foundation guidelines,
• issuance of guidelines for construction embankments,
• issuance of foundation execution guidelines,
• issuance of structural design of slab,

The foundation slab for the tank is typically made in a circular form, at the request of the Client we can change its shape into a square or polygon. The designed diameter of the reinforced concrete slab should be larger than the diameter of the tank by min. 900 mm. By standard we use structural concrete of C30/37 class with watertightness W8 and frost resistance F100.
