JRtech, as a distributor of the British company CST Industries UK (former Vulcan Tanks Ltd.), offers tanks made of glazed steel. The tanks are built in a cylindrical structure, composed of bolted panels and sealed with a Sikaflex / Saba waterproof polyurethane mass. The glazing technology was introduced into production in 2007, it meets the requirements of the EN 15282 / ISO28765 standard (PN-EN15282: 2007. Vitreous and porcelain enamels - Design of enameled steel tanks, screwed together for storing and treatment of water or municipal or industrial sewage) and EN14430 : 2004 (PN-EN14430: 2005. Vitreous and porcelain enamels - High voltage test).
The history of glazed steel tanks of the manufacturer CST Indsutries dates back to the 70s of the last century. Over 40 years of experience in the construction of tanks and the selection of materials from which they are made allowed to create a product known all over the world. Thanks to tens of thousands of satisfied customers, glazed steel tanks are the most popular product for storing various types of media. The innovative technology used allows the use of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) to create a hard and very resistant coating to abrasion and all even aggressive media.
Advantages of the tanks:
- longer service life of the tanks compared to welded or reinforced concrete tanks,
- minimal maintenance requirements of the tanks during their use,
- the possibility of increasing the capacity of the tanks to future requirements thanks to the bolted technology,
- capacity range from 25 m3 to 3000 m3,
- quick prefabrication and assembly time of the tank,
- easy transportation.
The proposed tank is made in accordance with ISO 9001: 2000. The compliance of the facility is also described by the following standards:
- AWWA D103 -Steel bolted water tanks,,
- AISC,
- IBC,
- NBCC,
- American standards FM and NFPA Standard 22,
- British Standard 7543:2003,
- EN 1528.
Glazing technology
Steel glazing technology is one of the newest technologies available on the market. The silica glass coating of the Aquastore tanks creates a hard and inert barrier of the internal surfaces of the tank, protecting it against the effects of the stored medium and weather conditions. Glazed steel is characterized by excellent resistance to corrosion, impact and abrasion.
The enamel used for glazing the sheets of Aquastore tanks is a 100% natural material consisting of minerals such as boron, silicate, quartz, borax. The process of glazing steel consists in applying enamel on it, which is then fired at a temperature of 850°C, creating a "glazed" coating perfectly bonded to the steel.
Additional hardness and chemical resistance of the glaze is achieved by the use of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) in the glazing process.
The environment-friendly properties of enameled steel do not end with the production phase. Thanks to the homogeneous surface, keeping it clean is easy and requires minimal maintenance of the tanks.
